Before you ask:
Yes it was hard to breath.
No I didn't die.
Yes it was really warm.
No I'm not crazy...well...only a little...

This was for my Sculpture class. Concept was mine, and it was pulled off by the help of my two roommates (who wrapped me up) and a fellow art major with a realllly nice camera.
I hope it's in the right category, I had a hard time picking one out...

I was trying to get a sense of a mixture of self-inflicted isolation and the imposing eye of the viewer. I've always had a fascination with the faceless nature of society and here I pretty much turned myself into one of my drawings.

Help at all?

Oho, that's dangerous. That using of plastic wrap reminds me a great band: Shining. The did some macabre pictures like this. So, I like. :)

Yeah...I didn't realize how dangerous it was until I was out of it. But I probably would've done it anyway. Never heard of them, what kind of music do they do?

They call their style Black'n'Roll. It's extreme and so their shows are. The head of the band - you might think - curls himself in plastic wrap everyday. On the whole: very destructive. :)

Oh wow...that is extreme. I've been in saran wrap twice now and really don't want to do it again. Respect though to him.
