Description

I stumbled across this butterfly last year, during that one brief week when the lilacs were blooming. That was just days before the frost returned. But I happened to have a camera on me to capture the moment. This painting is based on that memory.

This is super beautiful! I'm very impressed by how well you did the blending (in acrylics!). And you've caught so much detail in the butterfly and the lilacs.
